About Men Only Classes

I’ve been teaching men-only Pilates because many men simply weren’t showing up to unintentional ‘women-dominated’ classes, often feeling out of place or unsure whether Pilates was “for them.”

Creating a dedicated space has not only removed that barrier but also helped build a strong, consistent client community where the guys feel comfortable, supported, and motivated. Over time, it’s become more than just a class—it’s a group they look forward to seeing each week, with camaraderie that extends beyond the mat.

And yes, part of that fun, relaxed atmosphere includes the option to grab a beer together afterwards! And for those who can’t make it to the studio, I’ve created an easy-to-follow men-only online series you can do from home, making the benefits of Pilates accessible no matter your schedule or location.

Why should Men do Pilates?

Posie has been teaching a weekly live male class for over 4 years. 

We are known as ‘Men Only’ and late bookings are almost always disappointed by the class being booked up!

Posie has an excellent instructional style. Classes build progressively with a gradual warm up and down with a demanding section 2/3rds of the way through where the hard yards are made! There is an excellent atmosphere in class and lots of laughs; albeit beware the man found slacking! We are a tight knit group aged from mid thirties to early sixties who are carrying out stretches and moves now that even a year ago would have been beyond our wildest dreams!
